For running, start with GoWith 3594—not the everyday cotton pack
GoWith 3594 is my first Turkish-made running-sock candidate. Norfolk Cheetah is the alternative if you want a polypropylene/nylon blend and a different ankle cut. Both passed a sample-variant cart and Turkey checkout test. Neither has demonstrated multi-year wear life in the evidence found.
The request is running socks with durability as the priority. The earlier Kardeşler cotton recommendation concerned everyday wear and is not the recommendation for running. REI’s sock guide favors technical moisture-managing fabrics for active use and warns that all-cotton socks hold sweat and dry slowly.[5]
Checks: October 5, 2026, approximately 23:14–23:18 Türkiye time. Exact tested sizes are samples, not assumed wearer sizes. The guest checkout tests used Turkey as the destination without submitting a street address. Shipping methods and payment-provider options were visible; no order, payment or address record was submitted. Both test carts were cleared.
First choice: GoWith 3594, with an honest durability limit
Order the turquoise sample variant from GoWith Türkiye.
- ₺449.90 for two pairs, or ₺224.95 per pair. The tested Turkey checkout displayed free Standard shipping and a PayTR payment route.[8]
- Turquoise, 41–43 passed the exact cart/checkout test. Black, 41–43 was unavailable. Do not transfer stock between colors. Other sizes/colors were not checkout-tested.
- Material: 95% polyamide/nylon, 5% elastane. Maker specifies reinforced heel/toe, cushioned sole, arch support, mesh ventilation and a seamless toe. These are construction specifications, not independently measured abrasion or blister-prevention results.[8]
- Manufacturing scope: ATRA describes GoWith as founded in Germany with production based in Turkey. This qualifies as Turkish-made production, not a verified Turkish-owned brand.[3]
The running evidence is stronger than for the earlier everyday socks. Trail runner Sarah Barber tested the “Performance Socks With Cushion”; the article’s actual product link resolves to 3594. She found it comfortable, with forefoot/heel padding and slight arch compression. The foreign maker listing corroborates the 95% nylon / 5% elastane blend, but sells a four-pair pack; the Turkish offer is two pairs.[3][6][8]
Limit: the review used free samples and GoWith was an ATRA corporate member. It is useful hands-on running evidence, not independent long-term durability testing. The reviewer’s eventual favorite was another model, not 3594. “Anti-blister” is the maker’s claim, not a guarantee. The Turkish review widget displayed an aggregate but did not yield useful review text in this test, so it is not used as proof.[3][8]
Verdict: best first trial here for running plus durability-oriented construction, not a claim that it lasts longest. The earlier heel-tear complaint concerned wool hiking model 3592, not this synthetic 3594; neither its failure nor its comfort evidence should be transferred between models.
Alternative: Norfolk Cheetah, black short-cut two-pack
Order Norfolk Cheetah from Norfolk’s own shop.
- ₺699 for two pairs, or ₺349.50 per pair. Tested guest checkout displayed ₺159 DHL eCommerce shipping, ₺858 total, with iyzico and bank-transfer options.[1]
- Black, 39/42 passed the exact cart/checkout test. Other sizes are not verified.
- 64% polypropylene, 34% polyamide, 2% elastane; made in Turkey. Maker describes a short ankle cut, left/right shaping, ventilation, cushioned heel/forefoot and seamless toe.[1]
- The on-site widget presents six review entries. Sampled owners praise running/training comfort; one calls it somewhat thick and uses an antiperspirant, which limits the moisture-management inference. One review appears twice under the same author/date, so six entries are not six independent detailed experiences. No wear-life duration is established.[1]
- Norfolk’s broader independent reports include fit, product/seam and support complaints. They are not a Cheetah defect rate, but prevent a blanket endorsement of every Norfolk model.[9]
Verdict: reasonable running-specific alternative, with thinner model-specific review evidence and a higher delivered trial cost. Do not confuse the short-cut two-pack with Cheetah LC, four-packs or other cuts; check exact listing composition and cart identity.
Do not switch to a worse use match just to stay domestic
Thermoform Running HZTS21_R008 was listed out of stock and uses a thermal blend intended for cold weather. It is not the default warm-weather replacement.[4]
Norfolk Sevilla is a separate compression category, not automatically an upgrade for ordinary running. GoWith’s wool hiking 3592 and the everyday cotton shortlist are also different jobs. This is a bounded review of locally produced running options, not an exhaustive market search.
Check fit before buying more
Both finalists have cushioning. If it makes your running shoes tight, use a thinner model rather than sizing the sock loosely. Fit and sock thickness must be considered with the shoe; fabric choice alone does not eliminate blisters.[5]
For Cheetah, the maker specifies a maximum 30°C wash and no tumble dryer. Follow the actual GoWith care label rather than assuming the same instructions. Start with one pack, inspect heel/toe thinning and elasticity after repeated runs/washes, then scale the purchase.[1]
